Allie is a writer and performer.

Allie Kokesh is a Senior Creative Producer at Calm where her primary focus is Sleep Stories — owning every step of the process from sourcing writers, scripting and editing, casting, post-production (audio, ambience and music), art direction, and marketing. At Calm, Allie has created original characters, concepts, and produced over a hundred pieces of new content. Working with the Roald Dahl Story Company, Paramount, and Disney, she has spearheaded intellectual property partnerships. She regularly directs talent and has worked with Sam Heughan, Orville Peck, Patti Harrison, Conner Ratliff, Diane Keaton, Sophia Bush, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Kevin Bacon. (To name a few!)

She was a staff writer for NBC's Hollywood Game Night, as well as a staff writer for a handful of other projects that did not get picked up to series. She is a former NBC Page, an alum of the NBC Late Night Writers' Workshop and is a two-time WGA award nominee.

While living in the Netherlands, Allie developed an original animated series for Netflix Family with Studio Pupil, taught sketch comedy at The Assembly, and was a performer at Boom Chicago.

She is the co-creator of Max Fun Network's narrative sci-fi podcast Mission to Zyxx, she’s written audio narratives for Gimlet Media's Story Pirates Podcast , Wondery’s Little Stories Everywhere and for Calm Kids.

Allie is responsible for Scary Mommy’s scripted series: The Kitching Hour and Vanity Chair. Allie has also written and produced content for Hearst, Huffington Post, CMT, MTV, and Mic.com

Allie dedicated her twenties to the Upright Citizen’s Brigade, writing for the theater’s monthly talk show Night Late, writing for the monthly sketch show Maude Night, improvising on Lloyd Night and cleaning the UCB Theater bathrooms on Saturdays. She will return to Harold Night at the UCB in 2024 with The Prophecy.

Allie is the voice of omnisexual alien Dar, she has done VO for Fanta and voiced a toilet-tini loving dog for Hello Sunshine. She has appeared in national campaigns for Clearasil, Foxwoods, nTellos Wireless, Hostel International USA, and is seeking corporate sponsorships for her cats.

Allie loves ghost stories, hand-building ceramics, and tennis. She does not love that she lost to John Cena at the WGA Awards.
